Event technical services and event consultancy to Microsoft Ignite & Microsoft Envision 2017

OptaNet recently provided our tried and tested network design and support for the combined Microsoft Ignite and Microsoft Envision conferences in Orlando. 

OptaNet provided network design and support for the combined Microsoft Ignite and Envision conferences in Orlando. The combined network spanned the Orange County Convention Center North, South and West building along with Hilton Orlando and the Hyatt Regency event spaces.

Microsoft Ignite and Microsoft Envision 2017 provide deep technical training, the ability to discover new tools for innovation, and to connect with the tech community from around the world. This sold our event contains hundreds of sessions, insights and road maps from industry leaders, and deep dives and live demos on the products that are used every day.

The show is covered globally due to the sheer number of product launches and announcements it contains. The Keynote, delivered by Satya Nadella attracts tens of thousands of attendees. This year Microsoft focused on integrating AI, mixed reality, and cloud technology across its portfolio to evolve the enterprise and prepare its customers for the workplace of the future.

Multiple resilient circuits we utilised for the event and full N+1 active/active network core was deployed ensuring no single device failure could cause a network outage. The event was then monitored in real time by our onsite support team, in state of the art purpose built network operations centres in multiple locations throughout the event. Any issue no matter how small would be detected and resolved before becoming service effecting. We also deployed a dedicated isolated network and monitoring for the Keynote ensuring that any possible issues that might arise anywhere on the network would not affect the Keynote presentation.
